Chef Russ Fox in a kitchen

Meet Chef Russ Fox

I believe dinner should feel like something to look forward to—not another thing to plan, or stress about.

With more than 15 years of restaurant experience, I’ve cooked and managed in several award-winning, nationally recognized kitchens in New York City and Colorado. My background includes farm-to-table restaurants, as well as Italian and French kitchens, where I developed a lasting appreciation for thoughtful sourcing, seasonality, and food that feels both special and nourishing.

I graduated from the Chef’s Training Program at the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York City, where my training focused on vegetable-forward cooking, classical techniques, and specialty dietary needs. I also hold a current ServSafe certification.

My cooking is shaped not only by professional kitchens, but by time spent living abroad and traveling around the world to places like Singapore, Peru, Japan, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, and Spain, among others. I love bringing the flavors, techniques, and traditions of different cuisines into meals that still feel approachable and right at home on your table.

Here in the Boulder area, I’m grateful to have connections with local farmers and ranchers, and I let the seasons help shape my cooking throughout the year. While vegetables often play an important role in my cooking, I also enjoy working with well-sourced meats and seafood to create balanced, satisfying meals.

My goal is simple: to create warm, seasonal food that fits your life—and give you back more time around the table.
